Distributing Ice Cream & Smiles at St. Catherine’s Home, Mumbai
The Axium Global team recently spent a meaningful day at St. Catherine’s Home in Andheri – a humbling and eye-opening experience.
Pooja Nerurkar, Wayne Kite, David Garner and Amritraj Bhattacharjee interacted with over 200 children, most of them girls, who are being provided with care, shelter and education at the institution. The children welcomed the team with an energetic dance performance, filling the day with joy and positivity.
A small gesture from Axium Global-distributing ice cream-turned into a moment of shared happiness and connection.
Incredible work is being done there, from caring for abandoned children to providing education, healthcare and guidance beyond the age of 18. Challenges they face include maintaining aging infrastructure, even as they continue to create life-changing opportunities-including facilitating adoptions that give children a new beginning.
It was a deeply moving experience for our team-one that reinforced the importance of giving back and continuing to financially support such initiatives.
